Are you ready to make an impact in a company committed to creating a sustainable future? Outokumpu, a global leader in stainless steel with a century of experience, is seeking a Sales Controller to drive value creation and strategy execution within our Advanced Materials division.
As a Sales Controller, you'll be the financial guardian of our sales team, providing invaluable insight, expertise, and support to drive sales value creation. You'll challenge our business partners, optimize our sales portfolio, and ensure clear visibility on sales performance through data analysis and reporting.
What You'll Do:
* Become a key member of a high performing team, delivering a wide range of tasks ranging from database and report building to challenging business partners on commercial content.
* Drive sales value creation with insight and financial expertise.
* Proactively challenge business partners to identify improvement opportunities.
* Optimize sales portfolio through clear data analysis and actions.
* Ensure clarity on sales performance with meaningful reporting.
* Support the development of sales segment strategy and annual planning activities.
* Collaborate on development projects within Business Controlling and cross-functional teams.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in performance management processes, ideally in the process industry.
* Outstanding analytical skills and enthusiasm for quantitative decision analysis.
* Strong personality to act as a challenging business partner.
* Excellent communication and influencing abilities in a multinational environment.
* Conceptual insight into financial profitability and performance drivers.
* International project management experience is a plus.
* Advanced skills in spreadsheet and database tools (Excel, PowerBI, SQL, etc.) are a must.

Location:
Flexible – based at or near Outokumpu’ s main European hubs in Helsinki or Tornio/Kemi (Finland), the Düsseldorf region (Germany), the Avesta region (Sweden), Sheffield (U.K.), or Vilnius (Lithuania) or any other our location in Europe.
