Not just any city. Not just any job. We are looking for at the earliest possible date IT Coordination Clerk for the Office of Traffic Management Grade A 11 LBesO or EG 11 TVöD The Office for Traffic Management is one of the largest offices in the state capital of Düsseldorf, currently employing over 350 people. Among other things, the office is responsible for road construction and maintenance, planning, construction and operation of traffic facilities as well as approval procedures and special uses of road space. The area of responsibility of department 66/1.1 "Personnel, organizational and general administrative tasks and IT coordination" includes the installation and support of all PC workstations in the Office of Traffic Management with regard to hardware, software and telecommunications. IT coordination is therefore the central service point of the office. We are looking for a specialist IT working group leader, without personnel management, with currently 3 employees. Your tasks among others: Interface coordination of specialist office software / traffic system management, digitization measures in coordination with and in compliance with the specifications of the main office of the state capital Düsseldorf Maintenance and servicing of department-specific software products (including support for necessary further development processes) Administrative activities such as user administration, assignment of rights, adjustments to the directory structure, storage space allocation, data archiving; central user support for all hardware and software problems Participation in the selection and introduction of specialist procedures Market research, financial planning and procurement, training measures Participation in permanent and temporary working groups (GIS advisory board, digitization of telecommunications systems) Your profile: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or comparable qualification or persons with comparable skills Very good knowledge of basic network services (DHCP, DNS, MS print services, directory service Active Directory), DB query language SQL, basic knowledge of Visual Basic (VBA), advanced knowledge of MS Office, groupware and client Windows operating system (Windows 10) Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies at short notice as well as the ability to work independently and purposefully, flexibility and (physical) resilience Willingness to develop solutions to problems as part of a team, helpfulness and communication skills Confident and appropriate appearance, good verbal and written communication skills and a strong service orientation unrestricted class 3 or EU standard B driving license is required. What else you should know: You will be employed on a permanent basis under the terms of the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD).
