Tasks & responsibilities In your new role, you will plan, coordinate and implement automation projects or project parts in the areas of laboratory automation and robotics. In doing so, you will follow global automation standards and ensure compliance. You will develop concepts for robotic automation systems and plan their implementation in close coordination with the laboratory departments. Based on this, you will develop or redefine technical standards for these systems. Moreover, you will implement the designed systems and support them after delivery during productive operation. Furthermore, you will work closely with internal and external partners, both in the implementation of new systems and in the support of existing ones. You will manage smaller projects independently and take over the sub-project management in more complex initiatives. In addition, you will plan and ensure the execution of maintenance and servicing tasks to guarantee smooth operations. Requirements Completed master's degree (e.g. MA, MSc) in electrical engineering, automation technology, robotics or computer science, alternatively bachelor's degree (e.g. BA, BSc) with several years of professional experience Profound knowledge in software development, automation technology and/or robotics gained through studies and practical experience Good knowledge of both software communication protocols (REST, OPC UA, TCP/IP,) and hardware interfaces (Ethernet, RS-232, Digital IO,) Quality-oriented and business-minded thinking and action Ability to quickly learn new technologies Sovereign demeanor coupled with independent, structured working methods and strong communication skills Fluent in German and English Ready to contact us?
