Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of the various trades on site: Ensuring a smooth process and cooperation between the trades involved (e.g. electricians, plumbers, drywall builders).
2. Overcoming unexpected challenges: Quick and effective resolution of unforeseen
3. problems that may arise during the construction process.
4. Regularly informing all parties involved in jour fixe meetings: Organizing and holding regular meetings to inform all project participants about the current status, progress and possible obstacles.
5. Responsibility for meeting deadlines: Monitoring construction progress and ensuring that all work is completed on time.
6. Quality control: Checking the work carried out for compliance with quality standards and initiating corrective measures if necessary.
7. Safety management: Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards on the construction site.
8. Documentation: Keeping and maintaining construction files, logs and reports for complete documentation of the construction project.
9. Involvement in the planning phase: Participation in the planning and preparation of new construction projects from the outset to ensure optimal implementation.
Qualifications:
10. Master craftsman or technician qualification: A master craftsman or technician qualification is required in addition to the technical training.
11. Completed trade qualification: A sound training in a relevant trade (preferably in the TGA sector) is essential.
12. Several years of professional experience in construction management: Practical experience in the management of construction projects, ideally in a similar environment.
13. Strong communication and organizational skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders and organize complex projects.
14. Assertiveness and problem solving skills: Ability to make decisions and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
15. Teamwork and resilience: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and keep a cool head in challenging situations.
16. Knowledge of building regulations and standards: Familiarity with the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
17. Technical understanding and IT skills: Ability to read and interpret building plans and use common software tools (CAFM, MS Office).
