About this role
Strengthen and evolve Lieferando's German corporate communications to support business objectives and company culture. Work closely with the General Manager, Leadership Team and key departments to strategize and execute communication and community-building initiatives. As Lieferando expands into grocery delivery, this is your opportunity to bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and drive bold creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with company values and business objectives
* Partner with Country Manager and leadership to create content for announcements, organizational changes, business updates, and HR initiatives across all levels
* Serve as communications liaison between local platform, JET's global corporate communications, and German logistics entity
* Manage communications calendar and track metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve
* Organize and host engagement activities including town halls, lunch & learns, events, and cultural celebrations
* Champion an inclusive employee community and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across teams and locations
* Establish community engagement metrics and promote transparency programs and best practices
What you'll bring to the table
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, HR or related field with 6-8 years experience in Internal/Corporate Communications or Community Management, preferably in fast-paced tech
* Exceptional written/verbal skills in German and English with strong storytelling ability to connect employees emotionally to company strategy and values
* Experience managing internal digital platforms (Google Suite, Slack, Intranet, Confluence) and creating engaging content
* Project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and collaborate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
* Sensitivity to diverse, multicultural environments with ability to adapt messaging accordingly
* Preferred: Graphic design (Canva, Adobe), video communication tools, and understanding of DEI communications
* Preferred: Crisis communication, change management, or experience with global communication strategies in multi-site/remote companies
