We, the Deploy with Confidence team, are seeking a talented associate full stack developer with excellent knowledge in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Go. If you are interested in using the latest concepts of cloud development, such as microservices, Kubernetes, and service mesh, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact at SAP.
As a full stack developer, you will design and develop solutions for SAP's most critical technical challenges. Working within an agile development team, you will have the opportunity to utilize state-of-the-art technology to address these challenges. We expect you to collaborate closely within the team while also being able to work on topics independently. Moreover, we expect enthusiasm for learning about new technologies and evaluating how they can contribute within the context of our applications.
In addition to our internal offering, Deploy with Confidence, we are open sourcing parts of our toolset. As part of ApeiroRA, we are building an open-source reference architecture that strengthens Europe’s digital sovereignty. This initiative is part of a broader movement to ensure security, sustainability, and compliance for cloud-to-edge computing. By joining us, you’ll contribute to a project that’s not just technical, it’s strategic for Europe’s future.
What you bring:
* Excellent degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's/Master's)
* Fluency in English (written and verbal)
* Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or other modern programming languages.
* Basic knowledge of cloud-native technologies and CI/CD principles
* Eagerness to continually learn about novel technologies in the context of cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, and DevOps
Meet your team:
Deploy with Confidence (DwC) is an integrated toolchain for feature-driven development of microservice-based SAP SaaS applications. The capabilities DwC provides include, but are not limited to, feature toggle management, tenant lifecycle management, and true-zero downtime deployment. Additionally, DwC offers benefits such as numerous inner source contributions, and it serves as an integral part of the BTP Developer’s Guide. Currently, 55+ cloud applications use DwC. Our open source offering is called “Konfidence” and will be released later this year.
