For our partner company, an established and growing IT service provider based in Dresden, we are looking for an experienced network administrator (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. The company develops and operates modern IT and communication solutions for well-known clients in business and industry.
You will play a key role in planning and securing high-performance network infrastructures and actively contribute to innovative infrastructure projects. The position is filled through direct placement (permanent employment with our client).

Your tasks
6. Infrastructure management: Planning, setup and administration of network infrastructures (e.g., switches, routers, WLAN).
7. Network optimization: Support and continuous optimization of LAN, WAN and VPN environments.
8. IT security: Ensuring and consistently implementing security measures within the network.
9. Troubleshooting: Analysis, fault diagnosis and sustainable resolution of network malfunctions.
10. Project work: Support and operational implementation of IT and infrastructure projects.
11. Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as support and training of users.
Your profile
12. Qualification: Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician) or a comparable qualification.
13. Experience: Several years of professional experience in network administration or network technology.
14. Expertise: Sound knowledge in at least one area (LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls/IT Security, Data Center).
15. Know-how: Safe handling of IP-based networks.
16. Working style: Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style paired with a high service orientation.
