Your role
As the first person in the Data Team (Founding Data Hire), you will build clean data models, deliver dashboards and analyses, and empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
Your tasks
* You model data in the data warehouse using Snowflake and dbt and maintain the transformation and model logic.
* You build dashboards and reports in Metabase, develop KPI standards and enable self-service.
* You conduct ad-hoc analyses for business decisions – e.g. in Excel, Python or R, depending on your skillset.
* You gather requirements, prioritize them, and translate them into clear, usable data solutions.
* You establish data quality, documentation, and simple governance processes.
* You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Success and the Leadership Team.
Your profile
* 2+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles.
* Excellent SQL skills; experience with modern DWHs (ideally Snowflake) and dbt is an advantage.
* Experience in building dashboards/reports (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau).
* Proficient in ad-hoc analyses (Excel mandatory; Python/R a plus).
* Strong in stakeholder communication: You structure questions, define metrics and deliver clear insights.
* Entrepreneurial mindset: You prioritize based on impact and ROI, make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions, take ownership, and deliver.
* Quickly usable solutions in a startup context.
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
