Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity Country Finance Manager Location: Offenbach (Hybrid) The Country Finance Manager is the owner of the financial accounting & compliance for multiple legal entities, having end-to-end responsibility and oversight over statutory reporting and US-GAAP and ensures an environment of strong internal controls. The role closely collaborates with the extended team in Regional and Global Finance Centers as well as with external service providers. The Country Finance Manager reports into the Finance Leader DACH and is an important partner to business finance and tax (incl. tax advisors). Other key partners are internal and external auditors (incl. tax auditors), Corporate Finance and Functional Management. Primary Responsibilities Ensure Statutory and US-GAAP reports are timely and accurately filed for multiple allocated reporting units and legal entities. Coordinate remotely located team members and outsourced service providers supporting the above. Derive Statutory Financials per local GAAP, based on US-GAAP and driving Statutory Audit as counterpart to external CPA-company Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations/country requirements on books & record provisions as well as SOX-Compliance Driving US GAAP Compliance and conduct annual Balance Sheet Reviews Liaising with our shared service centers in Bucharest to ensure deadlines, and standards are maintained Partner with commercial finance, tax, treasury and legal on projects Support Corporate Audits in the Country and remediation actions to improve internal controls Support Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Divestiture (due diligence, planning and integration) Requirements : Degree in finance (preferably Accounting or Business Administration) with further qualification (CPA/ACCA/StB or "Bilanzbuchhalter") Multiple years' experience in a similar finance function Profound communication skills in English and German required. French desired. Statutory GAAP (German or Austrian or Swiss) and US-GAAP or IFRS Accounting knowledge required. Hands-on experience with a standard ERPs required (SAP desired) Proficient in Standard Office Software (especially Excel), Affinity to IT/Willingness to learn usage of specific IT-Tools Understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements Experience from external audit/Big4-CPA and/or experience working within a matrix organization considered a plus. Experience working with shared service centers and/or outsourced teams extremely advantageous. Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, "getting-things-done" and "hands-on" attitude.
