This is what you will do:
The Marketing Manager supports the Franchise Lead in development of key strategies and tactics in alignment with Global strategy and tactics to achieve local business objectives.
In partnership with Sales and Medical and other cross-functional partners, the Marketing Manager develops and implements the local strategy and marketing initiatives to drive awareness of the disease and product to support the growth of the brand.
You will be responsible for:
1. Develop a deep understanding of the market and disease landscape
2. Drive development of strategic and tactical plans in alignment with National and Global strategy
3. Driving launch planning and readiness across the organization for marketing tactics and deliverables in alignment with Global team
4. Identify and communicate local market insights about opportunities and challenges and present local marketing interests and needs back to Global Marketing
5. Develop and implement marketing initiatives and material for personnel and non-personnel communication in close collaboration
6. Enhance and drive an innovative omni-channel approach that supports key strategies and business opportunities
7. Lead the indication-specific congress planning and execution
8. Drive and support indication-specific market research projects
9. Act as an efficient Project Manager in leading the product team and in planning and implementing marketing initiatives
10. Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated marketing budgets and timelines
11. Lead briefing of external Marketing agencies to deliver high quality material and activities
12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Medical, Regulatory Affairs and Finance as required to deliver marketing projects within budget and timelines
13. Develop strong KOL relationships
14. Actively participate and foster an environment of cross-functional collaboration and practice sharing across all indications
You will need to have:
15. Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in product management in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry or comparable business
16. Experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative
17. Experienced in managing marketing agencies
18. Experience in digital / omni-channel marketing /AI in marketing
19. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
20. Ability to structure and prioritize workload, demonstrate project management skills and high attention to detail
21. Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of result driven effectiveness as a cross-functional team player
22. Ability to motivate team members with a positive and constructive approach to business challenges
23. Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office program suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
24. Degree in life sciences or economics
We would prefer for you to have:
25. Desired experience in any of the following fields: Orphan drug business, specialty care or Hematology/Al-Amyloidosis
26. MBA Qualifications desired
