About the Role
The Senior Project Director will be responsible for leading the global rollout of a Financial Services SAP template across multiple regions in a highly regulated insurance environment.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the global rollout of a Financial Services SAP template across multiple regions, in a highly regulated insurance environment.
2. Develop and drive the overall rollout strategy, governance, and execution roadmap.
3. Manage large, distributed teams, including offshore delivery (India) and cross-functional coordination.
4. Act as the senior point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities and program goals.
5. Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery milestones.
6. Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.
7. Drive adoption, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives post-deployment.
Qualifications
1. 10+ years of leadership experience in global SAP programs, focusing on Financial Services or Insurance.
2. In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Services modules, including SAP for Insurance, S/4HANA Financials, or similar platforms.
3. Proven experience managing offshore teams, especially in India, and working in hybrid or global delivery models.
4. Strong understanding of financial regulatory environments and transformation governance.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with C-level executives and steering committees.
6. Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous.
