As part of the Leidos team as a Beneficiary Services Representative Floater, you will provide Beneficiary education and enrollment services for the TRICARE Overseas Program under the Defense Health Agency. You will also provide specific services to all eligible beneficiaries including beneficiary education and enrollment designed to assist in operating an integrated healthcare delivery system for all eligible beneficiaries overseas. Under minimal supervision, you will serve as a TRICARE liaison for the beneficiary population. This great job opportunity makes a difference for so many of our valued military families!

PRIMARY DUTIES

1. Travel 25% to 75% of the time to multiple sites.

2. Verify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, portability transfers, and more using the Defense Online Enrollment System, Customer Relationship Manager systems, etc.

3. Register TRICARE beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system

4. Perform Primary Care Manager changes, following the Military Treatment Facility guidelines

5. Provide education on resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries on the phone and in person

6. Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information for active-duty and active-duty family member portability/disenrollment processes

7. Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, pre-separation/retirement, and others

8. Provide basic claims assistance such as providing information on the status of claims

9. Collect and record other Health Information into applicable systems

10. Assess the appropriate assistance level needed and refer or escalate as needed to address the issue at hand

11. Collect and report information on daily activities performed

12. Complete on a timely basis and comply with HIPAA regulations, Leidos, and other training and refresher courses

13. Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information

14. Provide remote support to Leidos BSRs at other sites

15. Adhere to a business casual dress code

16. Provide shadowing support to new BSRs as needed

17. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS

18. High school diploma or GED

19. Must be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee or US Contractor supporting the DoD

20. Must be a US Citizen

21. Be eligible for and maintain ADP IT III / Non Sensitive Position, Tier 1

22. Will be expected to travel to multiple sites from 25%-75% of the time

23. Three years’ cumulative experience in the following areas:

24. Experience in U.S. military healthcare delivery system or civilian managed care medical/administrative environment

25. Experience in a medical or clinical environment

26. Experience with MHS Genesis or civilian healthcare computer system and in processing medical claims

27. Experience in a customer service environment

DESIRED

28. Be fluent in English

29. Proficient in written and oral communications

30. Possess effective presentation skills

31. Computer literate with Internet research experience

32. Proficient with Microsoft Office 2010 or later applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

33. Ability to reply tactfully with people on the phone and in person

34. Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision

35. Excellent organizational skills and time management skills

36. Detail oriented

37. Ability to multitask

38. Knowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System and MHS Genesis.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $28,600.00 - $51,700.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
