Manager CtC Merchandising Reebok (m/f)
to join our Reebok BU Performance team as of 01.01.2019
Purpose:
• Take ownership of all Performance Footwear aspects in market (DACH), manage category business success through development and execution of category plan and ensure the strategic framework is used as set by the European Performance Business Unit.
• Implement the respective Global and European strategies and guidelines in the market by creating impactful plans for the local Performance target consumers in line with the DACH strategy
• Support development of Reebok brand image, sustainable and profitable growth
Key Responsibilities:
• Be leading Performance representative in market and main point of contact/ support for Performance Footwear with the main focus on product-related, assortment and Go-to-Market questions especially for local Sales and Brand Activation teams
• Lead in creating and executing seasonal/ annual growth plans for the DACH Sales ambition of the Performance Business Unit
• Based on growth plans, manage and assist the creation of the full Performance Go-to-Market proposition/ local category plan, including product assortments, input on communication and activation tools for all Omnichannel aspects and support of Fitness Marketing strategy
• Execute seasonal Performance Business Unit category plan at season launch to ensure impactful and aligned delivery across DACH market
• Actively collaborate with local Brand Activation teams on Go-to-Market approach/ marketing plan
• Support the entire sell-in process for winning/focus accounts
• Manage local pricing, sample ordering and deliver input on ranging, segmentation, category plan, maintain all merchandising information in system in a timely manner in line with European milestone calendar
• Actively share information and brief European Business Unit on needs of category for DACH market, report on and assist in analysing commercial input and market-specific needs and trends including regular analytics on sell-in/ sell-out performance of the category as well as the ROI of communication investments (analytical support from Finance team)
• Input on local article selection for partnerships/ assets to ensure alignment with European strategy
• Contribute to product selection for onsite retail assortment and staff outfits for local events
Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities:
• Consumer-focused with product, range and market (DACH) understanding
• Understanding of balancing brand and commercial aspects to build channel-specific Go-toMarket solutions
• Good organizational, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong engaging presentation style
• Passionate about sports
Minimum Qualifications:
• Preferably university degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of merchandising experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience
• Fluent in English (writing and verbal)
• IT skills: Outlook and Word: basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
