About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Level 2 IT Support Technician
and
1 Backfill Technician
to join the TCS UPM project team in Augsburg. This is a long-term onsite engagement focused on providing high-quality deskside, network, and infrastructure support for end users and local systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Asset Management, Maintenance & Infrastructure Support
* Manage end-user assets and local hardware
* Coordinate IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities
* Maintain device inventory and ensure accurate asset records
* Support meeting room and Info TV setups
* Coordinate with network teams for asset management and console provisioning
2. Incident Management
* Detect, diagnose, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
* Provide deskside and walk-in IT support (PC clinics)
* Support global and local IT projects
* Handle incident reporting and escalation
3. Hands & Feet Support
* Provide onsite "Hands & Feet" support for network, infrastructure, and applications
* Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for local hosting and application support
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in
Level 2 Deskside Support
(PC, laptop, peripherals, printers, software)
* Basic
network support
experience (Access Points, Switches, etc.)
* Strong understanding of
ITIL processes
and
incident management
* Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
* Fluent
German (B1)
and good
English communication
skills
* Successful completion of a
background check
(mandatory)
