To meet the permanently increasing test challenges of modern semiconductors we continuously enhance our existing V93000 semiconductor test platform with new test solutions enabled through complex ASIC's, FPGAs, and dedicated instrument HW and SW Modules.
In your role as V93000 R&D HW Architect, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders to understand the technical requirements of new test solutions and determine how to best implement those into the existing system architecture. You will also drive V93000 Platform's architectural evolution to prepare our Test platform for future needs and keep pace with upcoming trends in semiconductor test.
You work with various project teams in a distributed development environment to ensure consistent design structures and use of common building blocks across the organization to maintain architectural platform integrity moving forward.
Responsibilities include
* Consult worldwide Project teams to map technical requirements into appropriate HW-instrument designs, comprising HW, SW, FPGA and Test-processor aspects
* Drive future evolution of V93000 platform architecture to allow new applications on V93000 and extent total addressable market
* Ensure Architectural integrity and long-term maintainability of the V93000 platform
* Drive common architectural standards and effective re-use across the R&D organization to help development efficiency.
Requirements:
Must Qualification
* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Proven System architect experience in complex HW/SW systems
* Ability to understand and work in complex systems, familiarity with systems thinking
* Superior communication skills (cross hierarchy levels, cross-functional, cross-cultural)
* Ability to communicate own ideas clearly and present complex issues in a simple and understandable way.
* Provide strong leadership and mediation between different development teams
* Ability to simplify essential complexity without introducing accidental complexity
Want Qualification
* Deep (10+ years) understanding of V93000 design and architecture in HW (incl. Test processor), HW-Layer SW and Maintenance SW
* Good understanding of the semiconductor test market and related challenges
* Effective network and recognition across the organization
