For the DigitalSchool & Helpdesk department, we are looking for a full-time (part-time possible) permanent position
* Network Administrator, Digital School
Your tasks
* Planning, setting up, operating, and further developing complex network and server infrastructures (on-premise, IaaS, SaaS), including VLAN structures, firewall configuration (OPNsense), hardware integration, and error analysis
* Administration and support of modern network components and external services, including routers, switches, access points, cloud network services, and Unix/Linux-based operating systems
* System management: Coordination with system and application management; planning, implementation, and operation of virtual school portals
* Setup and operation of physical and virtual IT security structures: IT security concepts, firewalls, VPN, web application firewalls. Conducting tests, error analysis, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Creation and maintenance of audit-compliant documentation
What we are looking for
* Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable vocational training or equivalent knowledge and skills
* Certifications in relevant technical areas are desirable
* Several years of professional experience and additional qualifications in the field of network management
* Confident manner at all hierarchical levels, high level of self-motivation and good self-organization, willingness to perform, ideally experience with agile working methods
* Enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams, optimistic attitude, agile mindset, strong customer focus, interest in public services
* German language skills at least at C1 level
* Class B driver's license
