* Champion Compliance: Ensure our trading operations are fully aligned with European and national laws (e.g. MiFID, MAR, MiCAR, Regulatory Technical Standards, WpHG, MaComp, and more).
* Set the Standard: Implement top-tier market standards to offer the best customer experience, prevent insider dealings, manage conflicts of interest, and ensure best execution.
* Be the Bridge: Collaborate seamlessly with Product, Operations, Complaints, external partners, and our Group Compliance team.
* Shape the Narrative: Translate compliance requirements into clear, actionable feedback for business stakeholders.
* Drive Innovation: Contribute to the Markets Compliance Roadmap and align our compliance strategy with N26's overall vision.
* Lead the Way: Manage the Compliance Roadmap by identifying risks, stakeholders, and dependencies, and ensuring clear communication.
* Have 3+ years of advisory/audit experience in European and national laws (e.g. MiFID, MAR, MiCAR, Regulatory Technical Standards, WpHG, MaComp, and more). governing trading and insurance (FinTech/banking environment or consulting).
* Bachelor's/Master's in law, economics, or equivalent with deep knowledge of relevant regulations. (Compliance certifications a plus).
* Strong understanding of market standards (insider dealing prevention, conflicts of interest, market abuse, best execution).
* Ability to connect business interests with compliance risks and vice versa.
* Understanding of European and local banking legal/regulatory obligations.
* Eager to thrive in cross-functional teams.
