Your Mission
As a Management Trainee (m/f/d) in Transportation & Capacity, you will support the development and optimization of our linehaul network across Germany.
You will gain hands-on experience across different locations and play an active role in ensuring that our network runs efficiently, cost-effectively, and at scale.
Your Responsibilities
* Support route planning and linehaul capacity allocation across the network
* Monitor transport performance (e.g. load factor, on-time performance, routing efficiency)
* Analyze transport data and identify improvement opportunities
* Assist in planning and managing peak capacity (e.g. holidays, volume spikes)
* Work closely with dispatch, operations, and network planning teams
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external transport partners
* Support cost control initiatives related to transportation and linehaul
* Participate in daily operational execution to understand real-time challenges
* Contribute to process optimization and SOP implementation
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
* Strong interest in transportation, routing, and logistics network design
* First practical experience in logistics or operations is a plus
* Fluent in German, English, and Chinese (written and spoken)
* Strong analytical mindset and affinity for data
* Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in operational environments
* High level of ownership, resilience, and problem-solving skills
* High flexibility and willingness to travel and be deployed across different operational sites in Germany
