Your contribution:
* Design scalable and powerful database architectures that meet application requirements and support business growth.
* Create and maintain database models, schemas, and data flow diagrams to map data structures and relationships.
* Improve database performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
* Collaborate with teams to capture requirements and implement feasible database solutions.
* Guide and train junior database architects and administrators.
What you bring along:
* Proven experience as a database architect or similar role, with a strong project portfolio in database design and implementation.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
* Deep knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases; experience with cloud services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL is advantageous.
* Excellent command of English and fluency in German.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities for evolving technologies.
