Job Description:
Santen is looking for a Medical Science Liaison to join their team in Germany. The position is field-based with a combination of home office work, covering regions around Leipzig, Dresden, and Berlin.
What you will do
* Support key medical affairs activities, working closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal colleagues such as Sales & Marketing, Clinical Development, and other Medical Affairs functions.
* Maximize physician awareness of Santen by providing medical expertise and collecting scientific and medical feedback.
* Attend congresses to meet opinion leaders, observe presentations, and stay updated on scientific advances.
* Present data on products and new launches to healthcare professionals and internal colleagues.
* Develop scientific educational materials and participate in training programs.
* Support R&D or Medical Affairs studies at local sites if needed.
* Follow GDP guidelines.
Qualifications
* University Degree in Life Sciences (MD, pharmacist, biologist).
* Very good German and fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL.
* Ability to convey clinical, scientific, and medical information effectively.
* Strong presentation, communication, and teaching skills, with business acumen.
* Respond effectively to scientific and medical inquiries with accurate information.
* Ability to build cross-functional relationships in an international environment.
* Open, supportive, team-oriented style with influencing skills.
* Independent, creative, and innovative work approach.
* Ability to travel approximately 80%.
