We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven M&A professional with 3-6 years of experience, ideally gained in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A or a leading advisory firm (e.g. Big Four). This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in deal execution, valuation, and strategic thinking to impactful transactions that help shape the future of Heraeus Group.
The following challenges await you:
You advise Heraeus' Senior Executives on inorganic growth opportunities for its Operating Companies, thereby making you an essential part of Group strategy
You lead and support M&A transactions (e.g. buy/sell-sides, investments, partnerships) across all phases - from origination to integration
You perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence assessments and are involved in the subsequent negotiation and structuring of these transactions
You collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess strategic fit and deal rationale
You identify and analyse new business areas and investment opportunities that are of interest to Heraeus
You prepare and deliver presentations on opportunities, deal progress, and strategic recommendations to Senior Executives, and serve as subject matter expert on M&A topics
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
At least 3-6 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate M&A, a Big Four, or a strategy advisory firm
You have strong analytical skills and show enthusiasm for financial modelling / analyses
You bring a passion for dealmaking and the ambition to drive growth with a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset
You have a proven track record of high performance in dynamic environments, and excel at presenting, and communicating complex analyses to Senior Executives
You thrive working with global cross-functional teams and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Very good English skills both written and spoken, knowledge of German is desirable
A high willingness to travel
