About the Job
The Regional Manager Floater role serves as a strategic resource deployed across regions to stabilize underperforming markets and provide interim regional leadership during vacancies or transitions. It drives brand growth in the general market by managing sales activities, building strong relationships with key accounts, and overseeing a direct report. The role collaborates with the sales team to implement strategies that align with company goals and enhance brand visibility.
Essential Functions
Strategic Sales & Distribution: Develop and execute sales plans to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility in the assigned markets.
Distributor Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributors, ensuring alignment with brand and channel priorities. Conduct regular business reviews and lead distributor training.
Field Presence: Spend an average of four days per week in the field, visiting key accounts and working with distributors to maximize brand impact and identify new opportunities.
Brand Execution: Lead the implementation of strategic programs for product launches, retail promotions, and brand‑building activities. Support distributor execution within the territory.
Market Analysis: Use data‑driven insights to identify opportunities and allocate resources effectively. Maintain thorough knowledge of key accounts and market conditions.
Relationship Building: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, building strong relationships with decision‑makers and consulting on strategies that benefit both parties.
Event Participation: Represent the brand at trade and consumer events, conducting product presentations and training to increase brand awareness and loyalty.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, marketing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
Experience: 10+ years in the alcohol/beverage industry, proven experience in sales and distributor management, knowledge of brand building in the spirits category, and understanding of pricing, profit, and brand economics at the account level.

Flexible & Committed – willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including nights and weekends across multiple states.
Physical Demands
Standing and Walking: Working in retail or conducting field sales requires spending significant time on your feet.
Lifting and Carrying: May involve lifting and carrying product samples, promotional materials, or demonstration equipment up to 50 lbs.
Driving: Significant time will be spent driving; long periods of sitting and handling the physical demands of operating a vehicle are required.
Physical Presentations: Must be able to stand, gesture, and maintain a high level of energy and engagement throughout presentations to clients or potential customers.

Compensation and Benefits
Cash compensation is targeted at $150,000 - $155,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
