The recent acquisition of EK-Pack by Oliver Healthcare Packaging has created a new opportunity to lead the finance function. Therefore, we are looking for full-time as soon as possible:
Head of Finance (m/f/d)
This responsible person is a key member of the EK-Pack management team organization.Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance is responsible for the financial functions of the company.This includes the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory, management, and other stakeholder reporting requirements and the analysis of those results to monitor and assess the company's performance vs. budgets and plans.
The primary responsibilities include:
* Technical and disciplinary management of the Finance and Accounting team.
* Controlling and ensuring the accounting process along the entire value chain
* Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to US-GAAP and HGB
* Responsible for the cash management process, the management of fixed asset accounting and cost accounting
* Profit, budget and liquidity planning in cooperation with the specialist departments
* Analyze and interpret financial information to assess operating results and performance against budget/forecast
* Preparation of monthly advance sales tax returns and statistical reports
* Contact person for shareholders, auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities, financial institutions and insurance companies
* Responsible for overseeing the Internal Control Environment at EK-Pack
* Support of tax authority audits
Our requirements profile:
* Business administration degree with a focus on finance and accounting or commercial vocational training with completed advanced training as "Balance Sheet Accountant International (m/f/d)".
* Several years of professional and management experience in accounting including cost accounting and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of HGB as well as understanding of US-GAAP
* Experience working for a US-based manufacturing company is an advantage
* Business fluent in English
* High skill level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Independent, conscientious as well as solution-oriented way of working
* Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
