In-house Senior Analyst Business Insights
Location: Munich
Our client is seeking an In-house Senior Analyst Business Insights to play a crucial role in integrating valuable insights into strategic planning and execution. In this role your analyses will support commercial teams across product launches, sales, and marketing activities, ensuring data-driven decision-making. You will leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights, identify market trends, forecast business outcomes, and drive strategic initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a global network of analysts will be key to ensuring alignment and maximising impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth evaluations of business performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to deliver meaningful insights.
* Partner with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Analytics teams, including data science and market research, to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
* Utilise advanced analytics tools (e.g., forecasting, customer segmentation, commercial spend optimization) to enhance proactive analysis. Experience in predictive modelling is a plus.
* Work with SQL, Python, R, and other data analytics tools to support data-driven initiatives.
* Monitor and interpret key market trends and performance metrics, offering recommendations for strategic improvements.
* Collaborate with data stewardship teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance frameworks.
* Guide junior analysts and contribute to a data literacy program, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Your Profile
* Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative science (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field).
* 5-7 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead position. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
* Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), and statistical analysis software.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information to diverse audiences.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
* Fluent in German and English.
