As a Compliance Officer ( all genders) in our dynamic team at JPMorgan & Chase Co you will be part of a great team of Compliance Officers. You will be responsible for advising the business on regulatory topics and internal policies. You will also be responsible for implementing policies, providing trainings and overseeing operational processes relating to Compliance matters. This includes joining the team members to report to relevant governance committees and/or senior management in relation to Compliance risks, design and execute risk mitigation strategies, and manage internal audit and relevant regulatory exams.
Job responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs and policies.
2. Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update compliance programs accordingly.
4. Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related matters.
5. Prepare and deliver compliance training sessions to employees.
6. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
7. Collaborate with legal and regulatory bodies as needed.
8. Prepare reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory authorities.
9. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging compliance trends
10. Assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
11. Knowledge of the German regulatory requirements for Banking Industry
12. 3+ years’ experience in Compliance with a focus on Retail Banking Industry
13. Experience in drafting compliance policies and procedures, manuals, alerts and updates
14. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
15. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
18. High level of integrity and ethical standards.
19. Fluent in German and English
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
20. University degree in law, business, economics or another relevant area
21. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with business partners
