German-speaking Accountant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled German-speaking Accountant to provide high-quality accounting, tax, and administrative services to our clients in Luxembourg.
* Meet the needs of customers (mainly SMEs, family businesses, international groups, management companies, start-ups, etc.) in terms of accounting, tax, and administrative processes;
* Assist customers with related solutions (e.g. cost analysis, process optimisation in the finance function);
* Act as a privileged partner and advisor to your clients and your team;
* Participate actively in internal continuous improvement projects (introduction of new tools and/or processes).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of tasks;
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
* Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting laws and regulations;
* Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and growth strategies.
Requirements:
* 3 or 5 years' higher education in accounting or finance;
* Some initial experience in accounting;
* Good knowledge of local tax regulations and VAT;
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate several tasks at the same time to meet deadlines;
* Recognised for analytical skills, technical competence, and sense of responsibility;
* Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and develop good relationships with colleagues and clients;
* Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office;
* Fluent in French or German and English; Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
