For our Group Corporate Legal team, we are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) with a strong interest in corporate and regulatory matters. The role offers broad exposure to group wide legal topics and close collaboration with senior legal colleagues, management, and international stakeholders.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
* Supporting the Group Corporate Legal team on matters of corporate law and regulatory law
* Assisting with the preparation, review, and maintenance of corporate documentation and contracts (e.g. board resolutions, mandates, powers of attorney, service level agreements)
* Supporting the governance of group entities, including coordination of management and supervisory board matters
* Providing legal support in M&A transactions
* Support for Group Insurance Policies and insurance claims
* Monitoring and supporting compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
* Assisting in legal assessments related to group structures, corporate transactions, and internal projects
* Collaborating with internal functions such as Corporate Secretary, Compliance, Risk Management, and Finance, as well as external advisors
Your skills and experience:
* Fully qualified lawyer with a focus on corporate law and financial regulation.
* 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally gained in a law firm or corporate legal department in the financial sector
* Solid foundational knowledge of corporate law and regulatory law; knowledge of insurance law is an advantage
* Strong knowledge of governance structures preferably in Germany and Luxembourg
* Strong analytical skills and a structured, reliable working style
* High level of discretion and professionalism
* Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
