About the Role
This Senior Program Manager position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of Air Gateways associates across the EUAIR Network. The successful candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing safety management systems, ISO 45001, and work-process simplification.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project/program management skills, including technical accuracy, analytical thinking, communication skills, and a hands-on approach to delivering Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards/procedures/best practices.
* This includes initiating and supporting the implementation of WHS programs within EU AIR, ensuring alignment with Operations Partner's program ownership.
* You will identify improvement opportunities and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable impacts across Global Program framework.
* Closely collaborate with stakeholders to understand high-priority execution targets and develop long-term strategies and operational direction for WHS programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in delivering safety performance and monitoring aligned with team goals.
2. Facilitate safety at EU AIR Gateways and support WHS teams across the network, including Cargo operations.
3. Implement WHS programs and monitor the EU Gateway WHS Safety Oversight Programs.
4. Conduct site visits/assessments and participate in audits across the EU network to determine areas of improvement and monitor follow-up actions.
5. Ensure compliance with Amazon AIR WHS standards and local (national)/EU legislation.
6. Generate in-depth analyses and actionable recommendations for business reviews.
7. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Lead safety investigations and incident prevention programs.
9. Maintain accurate AIR Safety documentation and WHS data systems.
10. Collaborate with internal teams and assist with team member coordination and training.
11. Support new Gateway launches and assessments.
