Overview
An innovative event-driven architecture (EDA) platform company, enabling real-time data for modern cloud and AI-driven systems, is looking to strengthen their team with a talented Sales Director based in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue, and close new enterprise opportunities while expanding relationships and revenue within existing customers across the European region.
* Own the full consultative sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and deal closure—within complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
* Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned to short-term targets and long-term growth objectives, including pipeline development, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
* Position Solace as a strategic platform for event-driven architecture and AI-ready, real-time data infrastructure, working closely with technical and executive stakeholders.
* Build strong, long-term client relationships at both operational and executive levels, collaborating closely with pre-sales engineers and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications
* Fluency in English and German, with strong communication skills for executive-level engagement.
* Proven experience in consultative enterprise sales, including the ability to close large, complex, multi-year deals.
* 8+ years of experience managing enterprise client relationships within the IT or software industry, ideally selling middleware, platforms, or solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to lead deal teams, navigate complex negotiations, and build trusted executive relationships.
* MSc/PhD in Computer Science/Business or equivalent experience, familiarity with MEDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
