Working within a highly collaborative and tight-knit Market Access team in Germany, you’ll have direct exposure to senior stakeholders locally and globally. The scope of this role goes well beyond traditional pricing. You will shape critical decisions that influence access, value perception, and commercial success across the German market. From AMNOG strategy to innovative pricing models and cross-functional brand leadership, you’ll play a central role in driving how our therapies reach patients.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity and brings both strategic clarity and hands-on execution. You understand the German healthcare system deeply, navigate AMNOG and negotiations with confidence, and can translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for decision-makers.

Responsibilities


* Drive German Pricing & Reimbursement Strategy: Lead the development and execution of robust pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies tailored to the German healthcare landscape, ensuring alignment with both local objectives and global directives.
* Lead AMNOG & Innovative Pricing Models: Play a pivotal role in strategy and evidence generation for AMNOG value dossiers and GKV-SV price negotiations.
* Operational Pricing & Finance Partnership: Oversee the end-to-end operational pricing process, including the management and calculation of paybacks and statutory rebates. Work closely with the Finance department to ensure accurate gross-to-net forecasting, accruals, and financial planning.
* Brand Strategy & Sales Team Enablement: Act as an integral member of cross-functional brand teams. Support the sales force with deep Market Access knowledge, conducting comprehensive training on local reimbursement aspects for Stemline products. Partner on cross-functional events and translate complex health economic data into actionable programs and field tools.
* Cross-Functional Value Proposition Development: Collaborate closely with global and local Medical, Commercial, and HEOR teams to craft compelling, payer-centric value propositions and messaging tailored to the G-BA, GKV-SV, clinicians, pharmacists, and policymakers.
* Market Shaping & Policy Anticipation: Monitor and anticipate shifts in German healthcare policy (e.g., AMNOG reforms, Krankenhausreform) and funding dynamics. Proactively communicate these proactively.
* Strategic Payer & Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and cultivate trust-based, strategic relationships with key national and regional stakeholders (including KOLs, sickness funds, and regional KVs). Negotiate innovative, win-win solutions that benefit patients while optimizing commercial potential.
* Hospital & Health System Optimization: Support regional access strategies by presenting value, cost-saving strategies, and budget impact models to health systems and hospital administrations.
* Advocacy Integration: Partner cross-departmentally to support disease advocacy initiatives with KOLs, patient organizations, and health authorities, reinforcing the broader access strategy.
* Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all local legal frameworks, industry codes of conduct (e.g., FSA), and internal compliance policies in all pricing and stakeholder engagement activities.


Skills/Knowledge


* Minimum of 5 years strategic market access experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a consultancy (ideally including in Oncology sector)
* Degree educated in a relevant scientific discipline (or international equivalent)
* MSc in health economics or equivalent preferred
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the German Healthcare systems and Reimbursement processes
* Expert in pricing and reimbursement rules and calculations and procedures within Germany
* Strong network of healthcare connections
* Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacity
* Strong technical skills with prior experience in assessing and critiquing reimbursement models
* Highly analytical with excellent written and verbal skills
* Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to build working relations both internally and externally
* Disease area expertise in oncology preferred
* Rare disease experience desirable
* Experience in working in a dynamic, lean environment is preferred
* Customer focused
* Fluent in English/ German
