Social media and online fora offer a world of often untapped information. People go online in order to ask for and share experiences in every field, including medicine. Semalytix has created an AI-driven platform that contains compliant online patient experience data for close to 20 disease areas (and more on the way), and makes the data interactive in an intuitive way. Our customers in the pharmaceutical industry use this data to close gaps in e.g. clinical trial design, launch monitoring, and marketing.
Semalytix services include insights generation on that platform by our own medical insights analysts. We love getting familiar with latest AI technology and the ever-changing improvements to our platform, and to discover early trends or golden nuggets of patient information. Our mission is to bring the patient to the table when important decisions are made in drug development.
Tasks of a medical insights analyst include:
* Gain and maintain expertise in using the continuously improving Semalytix data science platform for patient insights generation, including PatientGPT
* Perform landscaping research on customers' use cases and business strategy needs
* Generate valuable insights from online patient experience data to answer customers' strategic questions
* Medical writing and design of intuitive and concise insights reports
* Potentially participate in customer interactions to discover their business needs
* Potentially perform user trainings on the platform with customers
Your profile
* B2 English language skills (writing and speaking) or higher, since the company language at Semalytix is English
* Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in either of the following areas:
* Medicine, biology, or pharma
* Data science or statistics
* Basic or higher understanding of statistics
* Comfortable with navigating social media data
* Some experience in writing (medical writing, publications, report generation, marketing/social media, or other)
* Experience in building and designing presentations
* German residence or work permit
