Job Responsibilities:
1. Central point of contact on import, export and trade related issues.
2. Point of contact for third parties (authorities, customers and other business partners) regarding Trade Compliance issues.
3. Responsible for the application and control of export licenses, to the EU and third country markets (e.g. AEO approvals and status; BAFA approvals).
4. Support and supervision of sub-regional Trade Compliance Manager.
5. Development and maintenance of internal Trade Compliance rules and policies.
6. Training of affected employees of GROHE Holding Subgroup.
7. Monitoring of export activities (including exports from local warehouses) and other business partner constellations to identify potential Trade Compliance issues.
8. Monitoring of changes in local Export and Trade Control regulations.
9. Definition of mitigating measures to address country or region specific risks.
10. Ensure compliance with the due diligence process required for selected business partners to avoid violation of Trade Control (sanctions) & Anti Money Laundering regulations.
11. Organize and support internal Trade Compliance Audits.
12. Regular communication and information on Trade Compliance.
13. Ensure the availability of instructions in local language.
Your Profile:
1. Successfully completed studies or a commercial apprenticeship preferably with a specialization in customs and/or foreign trade.
2. 5+ years professional experience in a comparable position.
3. Very good knowledge of SAP.
4. Very good knowledge of MS Office applications or equivalents (e.g. Google Workspace).
5. Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
6. Structured and organized way of working.
