Job Description:
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining framework components and functionalities for our 3-tier application platform. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the installability, portability, scalability, and servicability of our products. You will also deliver re-usable application components that help the organization monitor and control our backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain framework components and functionalities for our 3-tier application platform
* Ensure and constantly improve installability, portability, scalability, and servicability of our products
* Deliver re-usable application components that help the organization monitor and control our backend services
* Ensure consistency and the way our framework is used
* Maintain and further develop framework components, such as Application Server Framework, Kubernetes Framework etc.
* Perform Software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs
* Work with both local and international product teams
* 3rd Level support on complex customer problems
* Ensure regular reporting wrt. Status and progress
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or an equivalent combination of education and working experience
* Several years of working experience as a software developer
* Very Strong know-how in min 3 of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Go, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Networking Infrastructure, Prometheus, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace
* Enthusiasm for modern technologies
* Experience in Software Design, planning and concept creation
* Fluent in German (mandatory) and very good English skills
