We are currently expanding our Client Advisory & Enterprise Architecture Services as part of a newly established and growing tech team at Merkle DACH.
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead large-scale IT architecture transformations for our clients in the manufacturing industry (e.g., mechanical engineering, electronics, manufacturing). You will develop comprehensive technology strategies, modernize outdated systems, and ensure that solutions align with business goals. As a leader of leaders, you will guide teams and stakeholders through complex IT transformations.

Your Tasks:
* You will design and drive the architecture roadmaps of our clients towards a modern future.
* You will align technical solutions with business goals, mission, and vision.
* You will evaluate and integrate new technologies.
* You will establish and enforce architecture governance and standards.
* You will collaborate with other architects to ensure consistent, integrated solutions.
* You will provide expert consulting, support colleagues, and build architecture competencies.
Your Qualifications:
* At least 8 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a focus on leading large-scale transformations.
* Experience in designing and/or implementing two or more of the following areas: CMS, DAM, e-commerce, PIM, MDM, CRM, process/data integration, and automation.
* In-depth knowledge of SAP: integration design, ERP-SD processes, data migration, or cloud migration (e.g., S/4HANA).
* Experience working in or with the manufacturing industry (discrete manufacturing is a significant advantage).
* Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.) and modern IT architectures (cloud, APIs, microservices).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent German and very good English skills.
