We are looking for a marketing talent with a deep understanding of progressive youth culture in Germany & connections to visionary creatives from various creative fields, especially in Berlin. In depth knowledge of the fashion and or art industry & network is preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Energy Marketing Specialist Berlin, Germany you will be a part of the Nike Central Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Energy Marketing Director, Central. Based in Berlin, this role will be responsible for balancing relationship management & marketing execution through our key brand ambassador relationships across the Nike ecosystem, focused on Berlin and Germany.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
* Identifying, managing and maintaining a network of cultural ambassadors in Berlin & Germany to cultivate the brand and create the future of sport
* Providing exceptional service and brand management to all brand ambassador relationships
* Consistently engaging in Berlin’s rich cultural landscape, identifying key consumer insights and driving an insight loop back into Geo & Global, including Brand and Product Teams
* Feeding key brand ambassador relationships strategically into Geo & Global campaign work to catalyze our Brand and advance our position within our key marketing fields (Sportswear, Running, Football, Fitness)
* Support driving key “energy” campaigns around our most limited & collaboration products with our most visionary led marketplace partners
* Support creating marketing concepts and stories aimed at identified brand ambassadors pushing the boundaries of creativity and sport and advancing the notion of sports culture
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will work fluidly across Nikes Marketing Team, to drive better relationships with your consumer & partners in the city/country. You will also work cross-functionally in the Berlin office with key partners such as Brand Marketing, Comms and Marketplace.
The shape of your day-to-day will vary significantly, and your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You therefore must be collaborative, intuitive, and maximize the effectiveness of individual as well as collective thinking. You must multiply the opinions and expertise of those you engage with to apply coherent strategy and thinking that leads to new opportunities to continue to apply new thinking.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
* In-depth understanding of youth culture, music as well as fashion, art and design. Strong understanding & network in the fashion industry is a plus.
* A minimum of 3 years experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with a good understanding of cross- functional marketing.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners in these fields
* Demonstrated experience in cultural marketing, including developing and executing marketing plans, identifying seeding strategies, creating content briefs, and supporting the development of innovative marketing strategies.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure timely execution of marketing plans.
* Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously, delivering results under tight and complex timelines.
* Strong attention to detail and intrinsic passion for flawless execution.
* Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and accountability.
