👉 We are seeking a Principal FPGA Architect who will own and define the real-time sensing and behavioral intelligence of our biorobotic systems, designing deterministic, mixed-signal FPGA architectures under extreme SWaP constraints.

💡 Your Role
As Principal FPGA Architect – Behavioral & Sensing Systems, you will own the FPGA heart of our biorobots .
Your work defines how a living system:
* senses its environment
* detects meaningful events
* reacts in real time
* operates under extreme SWaP constraints
You will architect and implement deterministic, mixed-signal, real-time FPGA systems on very small FPGAs, where every logic element, clock cycle, and microwatt matters.
* This is a core ownership role — not a support function.
⚡ Extreme Ownership Under Uncertainty
You will take full ownership of the FPGA-based sensing and behavioral core of our biorobots, making architectural decisions with incomplete information and validating them through rapid experimentation. You are comfortable breaking conventions, challenging assumptions, and shipping imperfect solutions early — then refining them under real-world constraints where power, area, timing, and biology collide.
🧠 Your Profile
This role is intentionally senior and selective .
You likely have:
* 8+ years of professional FPGA experience
* (industry experience only — no internships or academic projects counted)
* Deep hands-on expertise in:
* FPGA architecture and optimization
* real-time, deterministic systems
* mixed-signal and sensor-driven designs
* Proven experience designing under severe resource constraints
* A systems mindset — you think in signals, timing, power, behavior, and failure modes
