🔧 Site Manager / Supervisor (Confidential Project)
Location: Finnentrop, Germany
Start Date: September 8, 2025
Duration: Until calendar week 49/2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 50–55 hours/week
🛠️ Project Scope
* Generator Dismantling: Oversee the safe and efficient dismantling of existing generator components.
* On-Site Testing: Conduct electrical and non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the condition of equipment.
* Installation of New Thrust Head: Supervise the installation of the new thrust head to ensure alignment with project specifications.
* Reassembly: Manage the reassembly process of generator components post-installation.
* Commissioning: Lead the commissioning phase to verify the operational readiness of the refurbished generator.
👥 Team Structure
* Two supervisors operating in two shifts.
* Up to eight laborers supporting various tasks on-site.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
* Site Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of progress, deviations, daily reports, timesheets, and material consumption using Insite LSM.
* Material Logistics: Organize and manage the logistics of materials required for the project.
* Coordination: Liaise with contractors, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth project execution.
* HSE Compliance: Ensure the construction site meets Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Hands-On Support: Provide physical support on-site as needed, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise.
📅 Conditions
* Accommodation: Provided or self-organized (compensated).

* Daily Rate: Competitive and in line with industry standards. The rate will be a key selection criterion if multiple candidates are considered.
✅ Essential Qualifications
* Experience: Proven track record as a site manager on the supplier side for similar-sized sites in the EPC business.
* Contract Knowledge: Experience with time and material contracts.
* Languages: Fluent in both English and German.
🌟 Desirable Experience
* Hydropower Projects: Experience in the hydropower sector.
* Refurbishment Projects: Background in managing refurbishment projects.
