The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in sales, particularly in the field of dry type transformers. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Thoroughly review tender documents, specifications and requirements to understand the scope and criteria, and develop a comprehensive bid strategy that includes pricing, technical solutions and compliance
2. Ensure all proposals are accurate, complete and compliant with tender requirements while identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
4. Present and demonstrate the technical features and benefits of our products, providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
5. Prepare regular reports on offering activities, outcomes and performance metrics for senior management
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production and order management, to ensure seamless execution of sales activities
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
8. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the transformer industry
9. Strong technical understanding of dry type transformers and related products
10. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly
11. Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
12. Willingness to travel as required combined with fluent skills in german and english
