Your Responsibilities

As DocuWare’s Senior IT System Administrator (m/f/d) you and your team will be the central point of contact for all IT matters and, as an internal service provider, ensure smooth and secure IT operations throughout the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You assist in the implementation of new systems and take on operational responsibility.
• You drive the strategic development of our IT landscape.
• You help with the administration of our infrastructure, such as firewalls, ensuring and checking backups, and monitoring.
• You advise business units as a competent service provider, act as a point of contact, and foster collaborative partnerships.

What you need to succeed

• You have several years of professional experience as an IT administrator and possess sound knowledge in managing complex, cloud-focused corporate networks with identity-centric access models.
• You have experience in IT security (Zero Trust, SASE/SSE platforms), firewalls, monitoring, backup strategies, and virtualization (VMs/cloud).
• You are fundamentally interested in information security (ISMS).
• Your working style is characterized by strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A high level of responsibility, pronounced service orientation, an independent working style, initiative, and a demand for quality are a matter of course for you.
• Your profile is completed by excellent German and English skills.
