What You’ll Actually Do
Build the operational backbone from concept to deployment – Own the entire lifecycle, from an idea in engineering to a unit on the field. Our flagship LYNX reconnaissance drone must go from prototype to mission‑ready in compressed timeframes, with no bureaucracy or politics, just relentless execution.
Make the hard calls that founders make – Allocate resources with incomplete information, trade‑off technical decisions under pressure, and balance competing priorities across engineering, sales, and customers. You’ll have the autonomy to decide, the authority to act, and the accountability for outcomes.
Scale without breaking what works – Move from early traction to multi‑product, multi‑customer deployment across defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure. Build systems that scale while preserving the quality standards our customers’ lives depend on.
Lead without a title – Influence engineering roadmaps, sales strategy, product timelines, and customer deployments through data, relationships, and strategic clarity, not hierarchy.
Create a culture worth joining – High accountability, direct feedback, learning from setbacks. Set a tone of intelligent risk‑taking, rapid iteration, and unwavering commitment to those who depend on us.
What You Bring
Track record of turning operational chaos into repeatable systems – Experience in high‑growth startups, defense tech, mission‑critical hardware, or consumer electronics where product cycles are 12–24 months, not years.
A track record of building from scratch – Designed operational architecture from the ground up in fast‑moving, resource‑constrained environments. Show the systems you built and the impact they drove.
Cross‑functional leadership without an org chart – Influenced engineering priorities, shaped sales strategy, and impacted company direction without direct authority.
Financial literacy that matters – Budgets, operating models, and resource allocation decisions with an understanding of P & L dynamics and long‑term value creation.
Genuine mission alignment – Motivated by the fact that your operational decisions directly enable people who run into danger while others run away.
