Role: AV Operations ManagerLocation: Frankfurt, HessenSalary: Negotiable (depending on experience), plus company benefitsHours: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)Kinly is one of the world’s most recognisable companies within the Audio Visual and Unified Communications technology space, working with numerous high-profile global-class organisations, helping them drive maximum collaboration, engagement and productivity to enable their colleagues to work together, from everywhere.We design, engineer and support audio visual and collaboration technology solutions that add real business value and deliver exceptional user experiences, every time.Now, due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a proven operational manager to join us, working on our prestige customer site, within a highly collaborative and talented team.Working as the Operations Manager, your primary function will be to lead the Audio Visual department and provide a best-in-class AV Service across the Frankfurt site, whilst also being a key person in supporting the overall AV strategic program deliverables.The position involves a high degree of exposure, working with senior management teams to deliver real time AV production services and will act as the main point of contact between Kinly & the client and the highest point of escalation for the Onsite AV Team.Key responsibilities:Full responsibility for the AV Operation onsiteManage the delivery of all Video Conferencing and Audio Visual businessClient Management – building and maintaining strong collaborative client relationshipsManagement of directly employed and contract staff in the efficient delivery of high-level servicesDevelop, adopt and deliver departmental best practicesContinuous Service Improvement – work with Service Delivery Manager to identify, agree and own a progressive programPromote and deliver team collaboration whilst maintaining team moraleSkills Gap Analysis – identify areas required for training and developmentIdentify and nurture development of key team membersManage all schedules including daily, weekly working schedules, holiday and sickness requests and cover for all absencesReporting – Collection and reporting of client related data including overtime recording, time entry and billing chargesBe instrumental in providing solutions to current issues and show proactivity in identifying future issuesRecruitment and on-boarding of new staffMaintaining a good working relationship with the onsite AV Team, the Client, and any other teams or 3rd partiesHost/attend regular meetings with Operational Teams and client’s teams to discuss service levels and operational issuesSkills and experience:Proven experience working in a similar operational roleSolid background within the audio visual and video conferencing industryLeadership capability, with a history of managing and developing high performing teamsStrong customer service focus, with a history of managing operations and developing business relationshipsFluency in German and English is essential, as is the ability to communicate at all levelsIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.If you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please email jobs@kinly.com outlining your requirements.About KinlyKinly is the globally trusted AV and UCC technology advisor to world-class organisations.
