Join our Social Security team on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours/week) based in Herten, in the heart of the Ruhr region—and advance your career with the market leader in municipal IT solutions! This will be your job You will coordinate quality assurance for our BI product across multiple teams and ensure continuous improvement in product quality. You will build a structured test case catalog and ensure adequate test coverage. You will develop and execute manual and automated tests, always keeping an eye on the quality of our software. You will test reports and data flows in close collaboration with software testers from other teams, as our solutions are developed across teams. You analyze bugs, document them precisely, and carefully verify fixes. You actively participate in reviews and quality assurance processes, thereby supporting our continuous improvement efforts. What we’re looking for You have several years of experience in software quality assurance and are familiar with agile methodologies, such as Scrum. You think in a process-oriented manner, have a strong affinity for IT, and test with passion and a keen eye for detail. You value communication and collaboration with other teams to achieve optimal results together. You work independently and in a structured manner, while also enjoying teamwork. Ideally, you have experience in software development, particularly in the context of business intelligence or data warehouse projects. You are assertive and actively drive your ideas to implementation. ISTQB certification is a plus. You communicate confidently in German—both in writing and verbally.
