Scientific Coordinator / Scientific Manager (m/f/i)
as of now on a part-time basis (50%), limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension.
The Mannheim Institute for Innate Immunoscience (MI3) is part of the Mannheim Comprehensive Inflammation Campus (MCIC) and serves as a cross-sectional center for innovative immunological research with a focus on innate immunity.

Organization of the MI3 / MCIC scientific program (HD-MA-Immunology Talks, Breakfast Seminars, MI3 / MCIC Retreat)
Organization, preparation and follow-up of meetings of the MI3 / MCIC steering committee, plenary meetings and project meetings
Correspondence in English and German, support in drafting texts, applications and reports
Funds management, reporting, orders, homepage maintenance, design of invitations, statistical evaluations
Preparation of strategy concepts and presentations
Completed studies (ideally in Life Sciences)
Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, flexibility
Very good knowledge of English and German, very good IT skills (MS Office programs)
Interest in biomedical research, solid background in biomedical research is desirable
Outstanding communication and presentation skills and the ability to explain complex issues in clear and convincing language to a wide audience
Ability to work independently, sense of duty, friendly manner, enjoyment of work
Experience in the scientific-administrative field is an advantage, experience in project and time management desirable
