To support this exciting development, they are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and ambitious professional (m/f/d) to play a key role in shaping this initiative. The ideal candidate will help build and lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with international colleagues across different international locations.
Tasks
* Digitalisation & Process Optimisation Contribute to the enhancement and automation of payment processes and support the development of their international financial platform.
* Accounting & Bookkeeping Handle account assignment, invoice verification, and posting of incoming invoices. Manage day-to-day financial transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank/cash transactions using SAGE. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
* Financial Reporting Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Compliance & Audit Readiness Prepare VAT returns and collaborate with the group finance team to ensure audit readiness and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Payments & Financial Controlling Oversee payment transactions, generate statistical reports, perform account reconciliations and clarifications, and support controlling processes.
* Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Performance Monitoring & Analysis Track monthly performance versus budget, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
* Stakeholder Communication Maintain close collaboration with external financial service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
* Year-End Closing Activities Support group financial statement preparation in line with the Australian fiscal year (ending June 30), in cooperation with the group finance team.
* Administrative & Commercial Support Assist with administrative tasks within the commercial department and contribute to process improvements.
Profile
* Completed training in finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification.
* Proven professional experience in accounting; familiarity with SAGE is highly advantageous.
* Strong IT affinity and confident in using Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent numerical skills, with a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
* Collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
* Genuine interest in working within a dynamic, international environment.
