About the Role
The role involves full-cycle R&D of new fertilizer products, focusing on formula design, laboratory verification, pilot test optimization, and production scale-up. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing product efficacy and reducing production costs.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the full-cycle R&D of new fertilizer products, including formula design, laboratory verification, pilot test optimization, production scale-up and technical parameter confirmation, covering compound fertilizer, controlled-release fertilizer, water-soluble fertilizer, bio-organic fertilizer and other new agro-fertilizer products.
* Conduct in-depth research on soil nutrient mechanism, crop fertilizer demand law, fertilizer absorption and utilization efficiency, optimize product formula to improve fertilizer efficacy, reduce production cost and realize environmental protection and high-efficiency product upgrading.
* Track global fertilizer industry technology trends, new raw material resources, national and international agricultural fertilizer standards, carry out technical reserve research and innovative product pre-research, and build the company’s core technical barriers.
* Solve key technical problems in fertilizer production process, formula stability, product efficacy differentiation and field application, guide the production department in process debugging and technology transformation, and ensure stable mass production of new products.
* Undertake patent application, technical paper writing and industry standard research of R&D projects, sort out technical achievements, and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into commercial products.
* Cooperate with marketing, sales and agricultural technology promotion teams, provide professional technical support for market product positioning, customer technical consultation and field effect verification, and customize targeted fertilizer product solutions for different crops and soil environments.
* Collaborate with domestic and foreign agricultural research institutions, universities and industry technical platforms to carry out joint R&D projects, introduce advanced fertilizer technology and optimize the company’s R&D system.
* Guide junior R&D engineers, build and improve the fertilizer R&D technical system, formulate R&D specifications, test standards and experimental operation guidelines.
Qualifications
* Master or Doctor degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Fertilizer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plant Nutrition or related majors; bachelor degree with rich senior industry R&D experience is acceptable.
* More than 8-10 years of professional R&D experience in the fertilizer industry, familiar with the formula development, production process, quality inspection and field application principles of various new and traditional fertilizers; have successful new product launch and project transformation experience.
Required Skills
* In-depth mastery of slow-controlled release technology, synergistic fertilizer technology, bio-fertilizer fermentation technology and water-soluble fertilizer precision formula technology, with independent project research and development and problem-solving capabilities.
* Familiar with international and domestic fertilizer industry standards, product registration specifications, environmental protection production requirements and industry policy trends.
* Capable of independent project planning, experimental design, data analysis and technical report writing; have rich experience in pilot test amplification and industrial production docking.
* Possess innovative thinking, sensitive market insight and strong technical judgment, able to accurately match R&D direction with market commercial demand.
* Good cross-department communication, teamwork and project management capabilities, able to efficiently promote the implementation and landing of R&D projects.
Preferred Skills
* Priority will be given to those with fertilizer patent achievements, industry technical awards, and successful development experience of high-market-share fertilizer products.
