Due to continued international growth, they are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to to drive high-level safety culturefor complex building envelope systems. Key Responsibilities They are seeking proactive Health & Safety Advisors to join their international operations. This is a vital field-based role ensuring that their high-profile European projects are executed to the highest safety standards. You will act as the technical conscience of the site, working as a collaborative partner to project managers and subcontractors to maintain a culture of zero-harm in high-pressure environments. Safety Leadership & Site Integration On-Site Governance: Drive the implementation of "Safe Systems of Work" across multiple high-tech construction sites. Cultural Advocacy: Move beyond compliance to promote a proactive safety culture where every team member feels empowered to prioritize wellbeing. Expert Consulting: Conduct rigorous risk assessments, site inspections, and audits, providing actionable solutions rather than just identifying problems. Compliance & Reporting Incident Management: Lead comprehensive investigations into site incidents, identifying root causes and ensuring robust corrective actions are integrated into future workflows. Performance Analytics: Monitor H&S KPIs and deliver detailed performance reports to the Senior Management Team. Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all site activities remain in strict accordance with both EU directives and specific local national health and safety legislation. Stakeholder Collaboration Team Engagement: Deliver high-impact toolbox talks and safety inductions that resonate with diverse, multi-national workforces. Contractor Management: Oversee subcontractor compliance, ensuring their partners meet the rigorous standards for safety and quality. Candidate Requirements Education: Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical discipline. Certification: Recognized professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or European equivalent). Experience: 3+ years of proven H&S advisory experience within the construction sector—specific exposure to Building Envelope, Roofing, or Cladding is a distinct advantage. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of EU safety regulations and the ability to adapt to local legislative nuances in Germany, Finland, or Austria. Communication: Exceptional reporting skills and the ability to influence site teams and senior stakeholders effectively.
