You’ll make an impact by
1. You will participate in technical consulting projects in the area of software development with focus on Linux for in-house customers
2. Supporting the selection, integration, and development of Open Source Software components
3. Contributing to research topics in Linux-based real-time systems, virtualization, and IoT connectivity
4. Implementing WebAssembly solutions and related technologies
5. Evaluating and applying novel technologies and software engineering methods, with a focus on DevOps practices, while contributing your own innovative ideas
6. Developing and implementing prototypes for our next-generation automation platform, including the crucial evaluation of non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability
7. Implementing Open Source best practices and DevOps methods
Your success is grounded in
8. Education
9. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
10. Strong academic performance in software development courses
11. Experience & Skills
12. Programming experience in Rust, Python, and/or WASM
13. Knowledge of IoT and edge systems development
14. Familiarity with Open Source culture and platforms (GitHub, GitLab)
15. Understanding of Linux-based systems
16. Experience with DevOps practices is a plus
