Your tasks
10. Hands-on in the laboratory: You prepare experiments, carry them out both in the laboratory and on innovative automated analyzers and document your results comprehensively in protocols and reports (including handling laboratory samples, hazardous chemical substances and biological materials)
11. Solution-oriented support in development: predominantly independent collaboration in the development of diagnostics (assay development) in the field of mass spectrometry as well as largely independent planning and execution of challenging development tasks
12. Independent evaluation and QM-compliant documentation
13. Presentation of results in project rounds (if necessary also in English)
14. Support in the preparation of (approval-relevant) documentation in development
15. Quality and safety: compliance with the applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety rules
16. Use innovative technologies: You will work with a variety of modern equipment such as HPLC, mass spectrometers and Roche cobas® systems and use software tools such as Word, Excel and control and evaluation software to generate, analyze and prepare precise measurement data
17. Show initiative: You plan and coordinate your tasks as independently as possible and in close cooperation with the team and the Technical Lead to ensure a smooth workflow
18. Shared responsibility: You will also take on general organizational tasks, such as device responsibilities or supporting the induction of new colleagues to create a strong team spirit
Your profile
19. State-certified technician, Bachelor's degree in the natural sciences (e.g. biotechnology, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, food chemistry) or successfully completed vocational training (e.g. chemical/biological laboratory technician) with equivalent knowledge
20. Preferably many years of relevant professional experience in development or quality assurance in a laboratory environment
21. Very good or sound knowledge in the development and optimization of immunological or biochemical test procedures as well as in statistical experimental design (e.g. DoE)
22. Confident handling of complex analysis systems and their validation, taking into account regulatory requirements (IVDR, ISO 13485)
23. Expertise in subject-specific data evaluation
24. Business fluent in German and good written and spoken English (technical English, presentations, meetings)
25. Open-minded people who are strong team players
