Financial Analyst Job Overview
The role of Financial Analyst is to provide financial expertise in the supervision of payment, e-money institutions, and crypto-asset service providers.
This involves analyzing financial reports, auditor reports, and internal control functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Assess notifications, requests, and changes impacting operating models or processes from supervised entities.
* Contribute to ongoing legal and regulatory developments and draft procedures related to prudential supervision.
* Participate in meetings, visits, and working groups at national and international levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Prepare and present reports and analysis to senior management and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Bac +3 or Bac +4).
* At least 5 years of professional experience in finance or audit.
* Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks (PSD 2, MICAR) or MiFID is an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and summarize complex issues.
* Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French.
* Proficiency in German and/or Luxemburgish is an asset.
