Job Responsibilities Lead and inspire a team of 18 payroll professionals (including 1 team lead), fostering their development and well-being while embodying our company values. Take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, including timekeeping and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Drive the optimization of our payroll processes, leveraging our ServiceNow ticketing system and other technologies to enhance service delivery and user experience. Collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and external service providers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of payroll processes. Manage audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies. Background & Skills Extensive experience in German payroll and benefits administration, coupled with proven leadership experience managing a larger, virtual team. Hands-on experience with Inhouse payroll, ideally experienced with SAP SuccessFactors for HR processes and ADP as payroll system. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system for HR/Payroll requests. Demonstrated ability to lead projects related to payroll processes and systems, with a track record of optimizing and digitizing processes. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to navigate a complex environment and lead with both strength and empathy. Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels.
